IRELAND PLAY WALES ON FRIDAY WEEK

IRELAND face high-flying Wales in the next round of the U-20 Six Nations Championship at Dubarry Park, Athlone, on Friday week, March 7 th. This ‘ESB International’ game is vital to both countries’ aspirations with Ireland keen to keep their grip on the championship title whilst also extending their great winning sequence at the midlands venue. Wales are going strongly to date and are also eager to claim the crown.

Kick off is scheduled for 7.35 p.m. and RTE TV will be there again with their cameras for live coverage, so come along and be part of the action.

TICKETS are now on sale for these matches and may be purchased at the club’s offices in The Bounty (contact Geraldine 086-1732711 during normal business hours) and at a number of other outlets including Musicworld, Golden Island, 090-6474372 and Keenan Sports, Athlone 090-6472030. Tickets may be purchased in advance although Ground/Terrace and childrens tickets will be on sale at the ground on match nights. However, it would speed up access to the ground if supporters purchased their tickets beforehand. Best value is the Family ticket which admits 2 adults and 2 children to the Ground/Terrace for just €25.
