The annual SUMMER TAG LEAGUE at Buccaneers Rugby Football Club returns on Thursday, May 22nd and will continue on Thursdays for 10 weeks. This fast-growing and fun sport is suitable for all ages and abilities.

Mixed teams of 7 players from a squad of not more than 13 play each week and 3 female players must be on the pitch at all times. Matches are 40 minutes duration and rolling substitutes are welcome so that everyone in the squad can get game time. You may need them all! Only 2 All-Ireland League male players allowed per team; not so sure about recent Eurovision winners! There will be 2 leagues, one competitive and the other for the social participants.

Entry fee is €300 per squad which is just a couple of Euro per squad member per match. And the fun does not stop after the final whistle with social events organised on match nights. The Bounty crew are repeating their unbeatable “fiver deal” where you can enjoy a ‘Burger & Bottle of Beer’ for only €5.

So, come along. Keep fit, make friends and maybe learn more about rugby and the Buccs’ club. Contact Yvonne 0860488090, Lorna 0868794465 or Billy 0878196476 for further information.

Registration takes place at The Bounty (in the Lower Deck there) on Thursday, May 22nd from 7 p.m. You can enjoy an induction session and practice matches on that night, while the league itself kicks off on May 29th.
