IRELAND v ENGLAND U20s ---- Thank You!

published:Feb  14   2013

IRELAND U-20s snatched a terrific last ditch victory over England in the Six Nations Championship last Friday night. Dubarry Park was packed to the gills for the big match with a near 4,000 crowd roaring on the boys in green, who delivered at the very end.

With Robbie Henshaw and Peter Dooley in top form, midlands supporters were well rewarded for coming along to the game. Buccaneers RFC wishes to thank everyone who came along on the night and hopes to see you all back for the visit of France on March 8th. Tickets are already on sale at The Bounty.

There are numerous people to thank but special gratitude goes to sponsors ELECTRIC IRELAND, Senan Downes, Barry Reid and their countless volunteers, the guys on the FAS scheme who had the ground and facilities in such splendid condition (the Aviva and Stade de France people should maybe seek their assistance!), the crew at The Bounty, Regina Bushell and her Ladies, the Ballybay and Tubberclair National Schools children who provided the half-time entertainment. This is just a representative list of all who helped. And, of course, thanks to all you supporters who came along to make it such a memorable and enjoyable occasion.

Thank you, one and all.
