Buccaneers U-20's begin their Leinster J P Fanagan League campaign on September 30th when they take on either Galwegians or Seapoint in the first Qualifier game. The league proper commences on October 14th with a busy schedule of games throughout the season.

The club has taken a very progressive approach to the U-20's group, adopting a 3-year plan that will see players and coaches working to a club playing template with the goal of developing local talent for Buccaneers Senior team. The group had a kick off day at the club on
August 18th which was attended by 30 players with key inputs from Club Head Coach Peter O'Donnell
and ex player Alex Hayman as well as special guest Damian Browne. Aidan O'Flynn from the Connacht Branch also ran a very successful workshop with the group on the key mental aspects of the game.

Paul Byrne, Benny Gilligan and Tony Ennis renew their very successful partnership from senior youth level as coaches, whilst Joe Browne, Craig Milling, John Doyle and Shay Rohan are the management team.

It's an exciting group, with many of last year's U-20's still available and complimented by last year’s U-18.5's Connacht League and Cup winning team. Training is every
Friday night with players on the park for 6.25pm.
