HAZEL & LOLA

published:Feb  25   2013

At last Saturday’s Buccaneers pre-match function, presentations of ‘Athlone Crystal’ vase and flowers by ‘A Room In Bloom’ were made on behalf of the club by Regina Bushell to two long-standing stalwarts on Buccaneers Ladies Committee Hazel Reid and Lola Lyster. The Ladies Committee play a key role in the club, particularly on big match days such as AIL fixtures and especially Ireland U-20 international games. This committee has served the club voluntarily for over 40 years and both Hazel and Lola have been in the frontline through all those decades of their sterling service. They are not thanked often enough for their unstinting efforts and the gesture was definitely warranted.

THANK YOU, LADIES!
