BUCCANEERS DEVELOPMENT SQUAD completed their Connacht Junior 1B League campaign on a winning note by defeating fellow strugglers Corrib 42-20 at Dubarry Park on Friday night. This high-scoring contest was a positive retort by a squad stretched for resources and numbers throughout a difficult season.
Buccaneers Development Squad complete their Connacht Junior 1B League campaign at home to Corrib on Friday night, kick off 8 pm. This is another “must win” battle for Buccs but for differing reasons as they bid to keep above the westerners to keep out of the relegation dogfight. With some restructuring and organisation plus improved commitment, this squad is capable of better results as evidenced by a decent run pre-Christmas. With so much at stake, Buccs must make home advantage pay.
BUCCANEERS DEVELOPMENT SQUAD’S travails continued last Sunday when they lost their Connacht Junior 1B League meeting 32-5 away to Creggs. This Buccs side has been struggling to field of late and they arrived at The Green in some disorganisation but, nevertheless, they battled manfully to the bitter end.
